BeamNG.drive v0.39.3 & v0.39.4 Hotfixes Tackle Vehicle Bugs Across the Fleet
BeamNG.drive's development team has deployed hotfixes v0.39.3 and v0.39.4, published July 30 and dated August 7, 2026, targeting the most critical issues surfaced after the v0.39 release.
What changed
The bulk of the fixes are vehicle-specific:
- Cherrier Ardente — rear fog light now breaks correctly; tailgate closing logic fixed depending on fitted sub-parts; wrong ESC part corrected on the Carminsport config; sport exhaust and upgraded brake pads added to top trim configs; missing transfer case and driveshaft meshes restored for the RWD transfer case; anti-lag and passenger seats added to rally configs; hard-coded license plate text on the S 310 config corrected; rear-quarter glass now breaks properly; dual exhaust tips relabeled correctly; hood no longer disintegrates when the retractable spoiler detaches.
- Hirochi SBR4 — hillclimb front splitter stability improved; missing meshes on the eSBR front bumper restored.
- Hirochi Sunburst — "Polizia" config recategorized from sedan to wagon; hood scoop attachment beam behavior improved.
- Gavril D-Series — dual-filament headlight low-beam brightness corrected; Diesel Drag config can now restart its engine after shutdown.
- Gavril T-Series — air suspension height adjustment fixed on certain airbag tandem setups.
- Gavril Roamer — missing right tailgate light guard restored.
- Ibishu Hopper — door panels added to the Trackday config.
- Ibishu Pessima / Miramar — license plate light locations and GTz headlight surround mesh assignments corrected.
- ETK K-Series — broken translation string on Turbo Rabbit Side Skirts resolved.
- Cherrier FCV Platform — engine damage deformGroup behavior improved; final drive ratios adjusted across multiple configs.
- Welcome screens moved to CEF across several vehicles (Cherrier Vivace/Tograc, Ardente, Bruckell Bastion, Hirochi eSBR), freeing the glowmap for dimming use.
For players who own any of the affected vehicles, the fixes resolve a range of functional and visual regressions introduced in v0.39.
