Money for Girls: Amortized Patch Fixes Gallery Bugs, Crashes, and a Rogue Bikini
A patch published August 31, 2026 for Money for Girls: Amortized addresses a cluster of bugs spanning the ending gallery, outfit management, cloud saving, and at least one crash tied to a character named Rabies.
What changed
- CHAINS END was not awarding a Bad End Coin or appearing in the Ending Gallery — both omissions have been corrected.
- Faded choices are now rendered at a larger size to improve readability on low-brightness displays.
- The Prize Pool scene no longer allows a bikini outfit to persist outside of that scene.
- Cloud saving has been revised; the developer notes it may still have rough edges and asks players to report issues.
- The outfit list is now reconstructed on each load, resolving a bug from old saves that could duplicate the character Cancer and her wardrobe entries. The "Undressed" option will now appear at the bottom of the list rather than in the center.
- Rabies no longer crashes the game (the character still causes in-game death).
- A special manicure image now renders with an opaque background in the gallery.
- Leaving the Home screen will correctly swap the background to the bedroom.
- The Mall Rat outfit button now visually depresses when pressed.
- Players who had already earned the BUSINESS END ending will receive the correct manicure gallery image automatically, without replaying the scene.
The patch also notes that a prior revision was reverted after crashing saves without an existing file, and that a working fix was subsequently pushed.
For players tracking completionist goals, the gallery and coin fixes mean previously locked or missing content should now register correctly without a replay.
