erdetspill Patch v1.0.1 Fixes Achievement Bug, UI Overhaul, and Performance
The first patch for erdetspill (v1.0.1, published 2026-07-26) arrives with a handful of targeted corrections across achievement logic, interface clarity, and session-length performance.
What changed
- "Kjeltring" achievement bug fixed — the unlock was triggering incorrectly when quitting or returning to the main menu after a shop visit, rather than when actually stealing from KJIWI.
- EKSTRA menu navigation — pressing Escape or B now closes the menu properly; previously it could leave the player on a blank screen with no way back to the main menu.
- Help menu (H / Help) restricted — it can no longer be opened mid-dialogue, during minigames, or while the ID card is visible.
- Tire at Kratergata now appears only after speaking to Hverdagskomikeren, preventing the power quest from breaking if materials were collected in advance.
- Inventory UI rebuilt — item, fan art, and lore-note rows now have visible backgrounds and hover highlights; the image/note viewer has a functional Close button that also works with a controller.
- Detonator minigame now has a dark background with centred text, replacing the previous transparent overlay that floated over the game world.
- Version number is now displayed in the bottom-right corner of the title screen.
- Bullet holes despawn after approximately 20 seconds instead of persisting indefinitely, improving performance during extended sessions.
The author notes that controller support is not yet fully implemented and that a respawn system — to avoid resetting an entire round on death — is under consideration for a future update.
For players who hit the achievement bug or struggled to read inventory contents, this patch closes gaps that were tangible enough to interrupt a run.
