BallsCommander Launches on Steam for Windows and macOS
BallsCommander, a compact real-time tactics game from developer Tobsel, is now available on Steam for Windows and macOS.
The premise is tidy: command small armies across a sector-based map, capture territory to earn reinforcements, and destroy the enemy's Mother Ball before your own is eliminated. The Mother Ball also serves as a long-range artillery platform — though the source is careful to note that friendly fire is very much in play.
Matches are designed to run only a few minutes, positioning the game as something between a quick diversion and a competitive back-and-forth with a friend.
What's included at launch
- Solo skirmish mode against the computer
- Online play against Steam friends
- Cross-platform multiplayer between Windows and macOS
- Three map sizes and variable game settings
- Sector capture with directional unit facing and angle-based attacks
- Mother Ball long-range artillery with friendly fire enabled
- Steam achievements and leaderboard times
Tobsel has pinned community threads for general project information and for questions, bugs, and feedback — with bug reports apparently welcomed in structured form.
For players who want a tactical game that respects a short lunch break, BallsCommander appears built precisely for that window — at the cost of one large, slow, artillery-capable mascot who cannot dodge.
