Minesweeper Inc.

A Minesweeper-inspired incremental where every cell you dig pays. Run short shifts, buy upgrades between them, and work your way up a seven-floor company tower — glaciers, volcanoes, deep space, a casino on top. Mines? That's what insurance is for.

Minesweeper Inc. v0.1.2Second follow-up in two days, again driven by player feedback — this time a report about the Casino floor that turned out to be a real design flaw. Thank you for testing and writing it up. 🎰 Casino scratch cards — reworkedCards are optional now. Unopened scratch cards no longer block a clean shift. Dig every regular cell and the shift ends clean — flip the cards only if you want to bet. RIGGED CARD! summary. When a trap does get you, the shift summary now says so in the title, with the posted odds — so you always know why you lost. The Metal Detector sweeps cards. On the Casino floor the Detector marks a guaranteed-clean scratch card first (green outline). Once the clean cards run out, it goes back to pinging safe cells. 🖥️ Floor counters moved off the boardCasino — the ring counter (RING 1/3, cells to crack) now sits large in the top-left next to the ALL FLOORS button instead of over the board. Data Center — the BANDWIDTH readout got the same top-left treatment; the multiplier and node count moved to a second line. Space — the STARS counter stays top-center, positioned just above the squares; it no longer hides under the ALL FLOORS button or clips against the frame on big fields. The "STAR CHARTED" banner is gone — the counter pulse and the chime already tell you. On fully upgraded fields all three counters were still overlapping cells — that's fixed everywhere. 🔧 AlsoCasino hint text updated to explain that cards are optional and that the Detector sweeps them.

Minesweeper Inc. v0.1.1Small but important update, driven directly by your feedback. Thank you to everyone who reported these — you were right. ♿ New: Effects optionsSettings now has an EFFECTS section with three toggles: Screen shake — turn off the board shake on booms and jackpots. Flash effects — turn off full-screen color flashes. Reduced motion — calmer combo badge (no pulsing), no confetti, no floating background particles, no bouncing cash counter. Defaults are unchanged, so if you liked the game as it was, nothing changes for you. If flashing or shaking bothered you, it's one click away. 🖥️ Fixed: interface covering the boardThe DIG BONUS / NODE ONLINE / CLEARANCE banner no longer stretches across the middle of the board — it now appears in the bottom bar. The combo badge and background-floor notes now stay in the empty space beside the board and shrink (or hide) on very wide fields instead of overlapping cells. The Space SECTOR CLEARED prompt is now a compact vertical panel positioned next to the solved square, never on top of neighboring squares. 🔧 Under the hoodSettings file is now type-safe: a hand-edited or corrupted settings.json no longer crashes the game on launch.
