The main highlight is the addition of a tutorial menu at the beginning of the game, allowing players to easily learn and review the controls. We've also improved the clue system and objective descriptions to make the investigation clearer and more intuitive. Abyzou, a very ancient legend rooted in the folklore of the Near East and Europe, is a demon often associated with tragic events that afflict pregnant women and young children. She is said to be jealous of fertile women and mothers because she herself can’t have a family. She will not kill her victims quickly, but rather prey on them by altering their perception of reality, showing them nightmares and horrible visions until she breaks their spirit and can take over their soul. She is strongly associated with the number 12 (thus the house number), as she has been said to have 12 and a half names or manifestations. And this is important because, as it often happens with monsters and gods, knowing her name is what can give you an edge over her when she comes after you. She is sometimes depicted with hybrid features, half woman, half snake or fish, thus reinforcing her nature as a being “between worlds.”Abyzou legend has been explored in horror films such as The Possession (2012), The Offering (2022), First Born (2007), The Lullaby (2017) or Still/Born (2017). Abyzou Rituals: The Manson Case launches on October 13. The ritual has already started. Will you manage to stop it... or to complete it?
