It’s been a long time in the making, and it means loads of new content coming to Deep Rock Galactic within the next year. You can see the brand-new 'Seasons Ahead' teaser here: We’ll get right into the details of all this right down below. SEASON 07: “CONTINGENCY PROTOCOL” SITUATION BRIEFING: APPROVED FOR GENERAL CIRCULATION The Company can confirm a recent surge of gravitational anomalies in and around Hoxxes IV, where geomagnetic poles seem to reverse within a concentrated area. Available data suggests this phenomenon may be linked to a recent spate of fatal Drop Pod crashes. Management has enacted a CONTINGENCY PROTOCOL to investigate the cause of these regrettable incidents, and to prepare our operations in case the situation worsens. All active mining crews will be sent to Drop Pod crash sites to conduct forensic analysis. Deep Rock Galactic Maps Out Season 07, 08, and an Expansion DLC

Deep Rock Galactic's Space Beach Party 2026 opens on Thursday, August 6th at 13:00 CEST and runs for two weeks. The event was previewed in an announcement authored by Snifle on July 30, 2026.
The headline reward this year is the Tactical Turtle hat — nicknamed Shelly the Shellmet — earned by completing the assignment tied to the event via the Mission Terminal.
What changed
New cosmetic: Tactical Turtle hat (Shelly the Shellmet), unlocked through an event assignment at the Mission Terminal.
Seasonal activity: Pool floaties have been lost en route to Hoxxes IV. Players must locate and deposit them during missions.
Double Performance Pass Point Bonus awarded to players and their teams for participating in the floatie recovery.
