House Flipper Remaster's Alchemist Update Adds Underground Bunker and Potion System
House Flipper Remastered Collection has received what developer Frozen Way calls its largest content update to date, arriving alongside the game's first 20% discount.
What changed
- New property — Underground Bunker: A massive, multi-story subterranean bunker described as survival-themed, responding to community requests for that style of content.
- Magic Cauldron system: Eight unique elixirs are hidden throughout the bunker. Collecting all eight fills an Elixir Tray, which then transforms into a Cauldron. Once unlocked, the Cauldron can be purchased from the in-game tablet catalog and placed in any property.
- Potion mechanics: Drinking from the Cauldron grants one randomized effect at a time — either a Positive Effect lasting 120 seconds or a Negative Effect lasting 15 seconds. Each potion has its own unique visual design.
- Confirmed positive effects include: Superhuman Strength (Dusky Purple Potion — instant item pickup, enhanced hammer and grappling hook) and Moon Jump (Amethyst Purple Potion — significantly increased jump height, though the source text cuts off before full detail).
- Quality of Life fixes: The update includes what the announcement describes as a "massive list" of QoL improvements, though individual fixes are not detailed in the available source.
- 20% discount: Active now, framed as the first-ever sale for the Remastered Collection.
For players who have been holding off, the discount and new property arrive together — and those already in the game gain a replayable randomized mechanic that extends into every property they own.
