Is Max Savage still being updated?

Probably not. Max Savage has been unusually quiet.

The developers last posted about Max Savage 2 months ago. 3 substantial updates have shipped in the past six months, 2 of which were major. Across their history this team posts roughly every 11 days, which is what makes the current gap measurable rather than a guess.

Is Max Savage dead?

Not by the evidence we hold. Max Savage is quiet rather than stopped: the developers last posted 2 months ago, a longer gap than this game usually goes, but not long enough to look like work has ended. This describes communication and shipped updates, not whether anyone is still playing.

Has Max Savage been abandoned?

There is no evidence of abandonment, but there is a gap. The developers last posted 2 months ago — longer than Max Savage normally goes between posts, which is why it reads as quiet rather than settled.

When was the last update to Max Savage?

The most recent developer announcement we hold is dated July 27, 2026.

How we know this. Every figure here comes from announcements the developers posted themselves on Steam; press coverage is excluded. “Substantial” means a patch, release, or major update rather than a sale or event notice. Nothing on this page is an opinion about whether the game is good. See the full record or check the development status of every game we track.
