Is Serena still being updated?
Probably not. Serena has been unusually quiet.
The developers last posted about Serena 11 months ago. Nothing at all has been posted in the past six months. We hold only 2 days of announcement history for this game, so its normal rhythm cannot be established with confidence.

Is Serena dead?
Not by the evidence we hold. Serena is quiet rather than stopped: the developers last posted 11 months ago, which is long enough to flag but not long enough to look like work has ended. This describes communication and shipped updates, not whether anyone is still playing.
Has Serena been abandoned?
There is no evidence of abandonment, but there is a gap: the developers last posted 11 months ago. We hold too little announcement history for Serena to say what its normal gap looks like, so this is flagged rather than judged.
When was the last update to Serena?
The most recent developer announcement we hold is dated October 30, 2025.
Is Serena worth playing?
76.9% of 6,555 Steam reviews are positive, and its Elixir Rating is 75.8 — a score combining that reception with how actively the game is still being developed. Whether it suits you is your call; those are the measurements.
How we know this. Every figure here comes from announcements the developers posted themselves on Steam; press coverage is excluded. “Substantial” means a patch, release, or major update rather than a sale or event notice. Nothing on this page is an opinion about whether the game is good. See the full record or check the development status of every game we track.
