Blueprint: EV

Blueprint: EV is now live on Steam, moving beyond its demo into a full release that covers the entire arc of founding and running an electric vehicle company across twenty-four quarters.

The structure is deliberately unforgiving. Three decisions at the start — market segment, vehicle body type, and management style — lock in your foundation. Everything else, from battery chemistry to manufacturing approach to software, must be earned through in-game Blueprint Research and fundraising. There is no restart from quarter one.

What the full game includes

  • A three-act campaign: Act I pits you against slow-moving incumbents; Act II introduces import rivals that claim roughly a third of the market; Act III sees the market saturate and contract, with a potential acquisition offer as one possible exit.
  • Eight endings, ranging from Tech Titan to Forced Liquidation.
  • 84 opening positions, drawn from combinations of market segment, body type, and management style.
  • Steam multiplayer for 2–4 players: one player hosts the shared market, each player founds a competing company, AI founders fill empty seats, and results are scored on the same five-pillar system as single-player.
  • A real P&L each quarter: pricing, production, R&D, market intelligence, and financing all require active decisions. Demand resolves through a multinomial logit model, and bank covenants carry genuine consequences.

For players who finished the demo and wanted more runway, the full release delivers the complete arc its premise promised — and now lets rivals settle the market in the same economy, quarter by quarter.
