Dune: Awakening Hotfix 1.4.10.5 Patches Static Compactor and Land-Claim Bug
A small but targeted patch addresses two distinct problems that were quietly undermining mission progress and land management for some players.
A client-side hotfix for Dune: Awakening arrived on 12 August 2026, authored by Pickle Riki. Players who do not see the download appear automatically are advised to restart their Steam client.
What changed
- Static Compactor failures: A major portion of the issues causing the Static Compactor to sometimes fail to unearth objects during the Convergence and Sample Recovery Landsraad missions has been fixed.
- Phantom Sub-Fief Console: Some players on the Harmony World held a Sub-Fief Console tied to a closed Deep Desert server, which was incorrectly counting toward their total land-claim limit. This has been corrected.
- Stranded vehicles cleared: All vehicles that remained on the closed Deep Desert servers across all worlds have been removed.
Servers were returning shortly after the patch was issued. A list of remaining known issues is maintained on the game's Discord server and Steam discussion boards, suggesting the developers consider this a partial — rather than comprehensive — resolution pass.
For players engaged in Landsraad missions or managing land claims on Harmony, both fixes address friction that was either blocking progression or silently penalising property ownership.
