EverDark's opening patch arrives less than a month after launch, casting a wide net across the game's base-building and exploration systems.

What changed

New additions

  • Resources can now be pulled from storage into buildings automatically
  • An "all auto set category" button lands in the storage interface
  • A screen-corner icon now shows the direction and distance of an enemy attacking your base
  • The Telescope building now displays boss coordinates; the first boss's coordinates are surfaced directly in the "Defeat Soul Revenant" objective
  • Corrupted buildings gain a visible uncorrupting progress bar
  • Biomes in the discovery menu carry difficulty indicators and descriptions

Balance adjustments

  • Storage capacity tiers rise from 300/600/900 to 330/660/990
  • Player resource carrying capacity increased
  • Telescope tier upgrades are cheaper
  • The Serie gun's accuracy is reduced
  • Tier 3 Cores Factory now requires lower-tier resources
  • Defences (excluding walls) and Crystal Lamps are now walkable
  • The "Uncorrupt building" objective now also counts clearing a darkness spot

Bug fixes

  • Waypoint Signs can be moved again
  • The "Power Genius" achievement was unobtainable; now fixed
  • Shrapnel Gun special upgrade caused excessive stun time on hit
  • Increased Capacities modifier failed to calculate correctly after loading a save
  • Flamethrower turret played fire audio on startup incorrectly
  • Difficulty percentage sometimes failed to appear on save slots
  • Several hazard placement, visual collision, and layering issues resolved

Taken together, the additions to enemy tracking and storage automation meaningfully reduce the friction of mid-game base management, while the save-load capacity fix addresses what could have been a silent progression trap.
