Feed the Scorchpot

Developer Moravian has shipped Patch 1.02 for Feed the Scorchpot, a update that mixes cosmetic additions with quality-of-life improvements and an unusually wide pass at balance.

The headline addition is seven new small flying dragons that now battle the sea snakes on the map. Previously, only the Baron was depicted in that role — an inconsistency when players chose other dragon types. The new animations bring the full roster into the conflict.

What changed

Features

  • Seven new small flying dragons that battle the sea snakes
  • Tooltip added next to recipes and dice targeting specific values (e.g. Eintopf, Umami)
  • Recipes in the tray now preserve the order in which they were activated
  • In the secret minigame, Space can now be pressed to feed

Bug fixes

  • Temple ducat bonus was not applying to certain buildings — now fixed
  • Harvest expectation tooltip removed from Feeding Grounds
  • Accidental shop-selection locking is now less likely
  • Rare autosell on some gamepieces resolved
  • Translation fixes

Balance

  • Buckets of Ducats achievement ducat requirement lowered to 100,000
  • Mason's Moorings more likely to appear in the shop if absent
  • Temple bonus: 8 → 10 ducats; Altar bonus: 20 → 30 ingredients
  • Casino bonus: 3 → 4 ducats per unused dice roll
  • Tollhouse bonus: 2 → 4 ducats per adjacent Farmstead
  • Base ingredient yield for Windmill, Pasture, Ranch, Garden, Orchard, and Plantation: 50 → 70
  • Long Summer card cost: 3 → 4 points; Divination card cost: 3 → 2 points

The production building buffs and ducat-generating structure increases collectively shift the economic tempo, while the card cost changes nudge deck construction toward Divination and away from Long Summer.
