Fellowship 0.4.5.0 Eases Dungeon Penalties and Adds Item Buyback

Weekly update 0.4.5.0 for the early-access game Fellowship (published 2026-09-16) focuses on quality-of-life improvements, bugfixes, and hero buffs, with developer Chief Will noting that the team's attention is divided between ongoing upkeep and work toward the 1.0 release.

What changed

Quality of Life

• Dungeons that run over time will no longer downgrade loot. The developers noted that going overtime already limits progression, and they did not want to "double-punish" players or encourage abandonment. Loot is now framed as a consolation for an overtimed run.
• A buyback system has been added for scrapped items. The last 20 items scrapped are stored for up to 12 hours. The existing confirmation dialog remains for now; the team states it will be removed in the next update if reception stays positive.

Hero Bugfixes

• Meiko: Fixed a talent-effect that failed to disappear when clearing a talent choice.
• Mara: Removed queueing from an ability (spam protection remains, preventing instant stealth toggling on double-click). Also fixed the same lingering talent-effect bug present on Meiko.
• Vigour: Fixed a charged ability that previously ignored additional players outside line-of-sight. Now only the primary target needs to be in line-of-sight.
• Aeona: A fix was noted in the source but the description was cut off.

On balance, the team says it will continue consulting hero feedback threads in its Discord "Dev Discussion" area, with an eye toward changes to abilities, talents, and legendaries that align with 1.0 goals.

For players, the loot and buyback changes reduce the friction around two of the more punishing moments in a run — falling behind on time and accidentally scrapping gear.
