Gems of War Update 9.4 Overhauls PvP and Tower of Doom Guild Sharing

Gems of War's Update 9.4 arrives with a concentrated set of changes to PvP presentation, guild cooperation, and in-game event documentation — areas that have historically pushed players toward external resources or guesswork.

What changed

PvP matchmaking and results

• Matchmaking now weighs player level and team score more heavily when generating the opponent list.
• The result screen displays both players' names, levels, and guilds — opponent in the top right, self in the top left.
• The MVP menu gains a toggle between MVP information and a full Victory Point breakdown, and the game remembers which view was last used.
• A new Test Defenses button in the PvP options menu lets players rehearse matchups in a Pre-Battle setup similar to Explore, adjusting both their own team and the defending team before entering live PvP. Guild Wars defense team options are now included in the defending team list.

Tower of Doom — guild-wide room discovery

• When a guild member defeats a room, its reward information becomes visible to all guild members.
• A footprint icon marks any room a guildmate has already explored, along with its reward.

World Event in-game documentation

• A new Details button appears in the World Event Overview map's score section, opening a popup that covers how the event plays, scoring values, available battles with their collectible drops, and modifier explanations.
• Battle modifiers are now shown with an icon directly in the Battles section.

Taken together, the update reduces the need to consult external blogs or relay information through guild chat — a meaningful compression of friction for regular players.
