Horingar: Darkside 1.2.0 Fixes Core Bugs and Launches Linux Test Build
A native Linux version enters private beta while four targeted fixes address gallery, collision, and mana regeneration issues.
Developer XforU_Dev has published Update 1.2.0 for Horingar: Darkside, pairing a set of bug fixes with the quiet arrival of a native Linux build now open for community testing.
What changed
Linux build (currently on Patch 1.1.0):
- A native Linux version is available via a private beta branch, accessed through Steam's Game Versions & Betas panel using the code
linuxtesting - Testing has been conducted on an Ubuntu virtual machine; Steam Deck compatibility has not yet been verified
- The developer intends to run the Linux build through additional testing days before adding it to the store page officially, at which point it will be brought up to the latest patch
Bug fixes in 1.2.0:
- Denver's Gallery Scene 3 has been corrected
- Torch collision in the camp has been fixed
- Nature Weapons' Mana regeneration has been fixed
- Mana regeneration logic has been reworked from a flat amount to a percentage-based system
- Several additional minor bugs and issues have been resolved
The shift to percentage-based Mana regeneration is the one mechanical change here with broader balance implications — players using Nature Weapons in particular will want to note how their sustain feels under the new formula.
