Hozy Patch 1.2.1 Fixes Rug Physics, Paintbrush, and Save Progress
A small but targeted bug-fix patch resolves three reported issues that could leave players' progress and placed objects in the wrong state.
Developer tinyXsarion has shipped Patch 1.2.1 for Hozy, a focused maintenance release addressing bugs surfaced by the community since the previous update.
What changed
- Rugs no longer fall through objects on save load. Rugs in Hozy follow special placement rules that let them sit beneath furniture or be stored rolled up. A physics update made for Sandbox Mode introduced logic that wasn't correctly applied to the first level, causing rugs to misplace themselves after a save was loaded. The fix brings that logic into alignment across the affected level.
- The Dream level's paintbrush now returns to the paint bucket. The problem traced back to an incorrect configuration value — a narrow fix with a clear cause.
- Completed levels now save progress reliably regardless of how a player exits. Previously, finishing a level and leaving via the Exit button — rather than the Finish button — could cause progress not to be recorded. Both exit paths now correctly commit completion state.
The team notes that larger updates are still in progress, and players who encounter further issues are directed to the official Hozy Discord server.
For anyone who found their carefully arranged rugs sunk into the floor or their finished levels unmarked on return, this patch closes those gaps cleanly.
