Knockout Battle Patch Fixes Host Disconnects, Item Drops, and Lobby Visibility
A small but targeted update addresses several multiplayer rough edges that could disrupt sessions from the moment of first launch.
A bug-fix update from developer vionical tidies up a handful of friction points in Knockout Battle, most of them rooted in multiplayer session handling and first-run behaviour.
What changed
- Host departure now auto-removes clients — players are no longer left stranded in a session after the host exits.
- Client disconnects no longer trigger unwanted respawns — when a player leaves mid-match, the remaining participants stay in their current state rather than being forcibly respawned.
- Potion pickups no longer drop held items — grabbing a potion previously caused players to lose whatever they were carrying; that interaction has been corrected.
- First-launch lobby bug addressed — some players on initial startup could not see their own name and were unable to host lobbies; this has reportedly been fixed.
- Map edges marked with fog — the outer boundaries of the map now carry a fog indicator, giving players a clearer sense of the playable area.
Taken together, these changes shore up the core multiplayer loop — session integrity, item handling, and onboarding — making early and mid-session play noticeably more stable.
