My Infamous Dungeon v1.0.4 Tightens Early Difficulty and Fixes Merge Bugs
A focused patch addresses save-state data loss, monster merging exploits, and a long-missing reset option.
Boxfox Studios has shipped patch v1.0.4 for My Infamous Dungeon, a small but purposeful update that touches difficulty balance, quality-of-life additions, and two notable bug fixes tied to the game's monster merging system.
What changed
General
- A button to reset save data has been added.
- Practice Dummies now display a tooltip indicating when they can no longer heal.
- Threat levels 1 and 2 have had their difficulty increased.
Bug fixes
- The Spider's Fang buff was being dropped when merging monsters or loading a previous save — this is now corrected.
- Taunt could similarly be lost when merging monsters after loading a save; that issue has been resolved.
The save-reset button is a straightforward addition for players who want a clean slate without navigating outside the game. More consequential is the difficulty increase to the two lowest threat levels, suggesting the early game was offering less resistance than intended.
The merge-related fixes carry the most mechanical weight: both Spider's Fang and Taunt are buffs that players presumably built around, and losing them silently on a load or merge was the kind of bug that could quietly invalidate a run. With those corrected, the game's systems should behave consistently across save cycles.
