Old School RuneScape Launches Wyrmscraig, a Player-Designed Island

Wyrmscraig, created in partnership with a player called Gnome — winner of Old School RuneScape's Player-Designed Island competition — is now live in the game.

The island gates itself behind skill requirements: 62 Sailing is needed to reach it, and further activities demand additional thresholds. Goat Hunting opens at 60 Hunter. The quest Fallen From Grace — classified as Experienced-tier — requires 62 Sailing, 60 Crafting, 47 Runecraft, and 53 Mining. Completing it unlocks both the repeatable Mad Angel boss and the Sunstone Golem Crafting activity; Hunter Furs are a required material for the latter. New Slayer Master Mortimer, found in the caverns during the quest, demands 70 Slayer and 100 Combat, or alternatively 99 Slayer.

• Jeweller's Chisel — earned through Golem Crafting; grants a 20% better chance cutting Opals, Jades, and Topaz; 10% chance to cut two gems simultaneously on any gem; guarantees success cutting Opals at 62, Jades at 71, and Topaz at 76; functions as a regular Chisel
• Sailing Skillcape gains a new perk: the Teleport to Boat spell

Players willing to meet the skill prerequisites gain access to competitive melee options and a meaningful quality-of-life upgrade for gem cutting.
