Quasimorph Exits Early Access with 1.0 Launch and Save Compatibility Warning
Magnum Scriptum's roguelike tactical RPG reaches full release, but players returning from the default branch will need to start fresh.
Quasimorph has officially left Early Access with the release of version 1.0, announced on July 31, 2026 by developer Magnum Scriptum.
What changed
- The game has launched at version 1.0, exiting Early Access entirely.
- A 33% discount is available for the first two weeks following launch.
- Save compatibility is split: saves from the default branch are not compatible with 1.0 and require a new game; saves from the Unstable Beta branch carry over without issue.
- A Quasimorph Supporter Pack is now available, containing the soundtrack, a unique weapon variant (HIS Magnum), several older builds with distinct stories and gameplay, and in-game artwork. Existing owners can purchase it at an additional discount via a special bundle.
- Several launch bundles pair the game with Stoneshard, Cargo Hunters, and a three-way bundle alongside Intravenous 2 and Pathologic 3.
The save compatibility split is the most immediate practical concern for returning players: anyone who has not been on the Unstable Beta branch will lose their existing progress and must begin a new run under 1.0.
