Ribbit Rogue

King Krab Games has released Ribbit Rogue's inaugural patch, targeting relic economy, enemy difficulty, and a handful of bugs in what the studio calls a balance and hot fix update.

What changed

New feature

  • In-battle text now displays how many dice must be rolled on a given turn.

Relic nerfs (selected highlights)

  • Storage Dice: the reroll surplus threshold to earn a bonus die rises from 3 to 4 leftover rerolls.
  • Combo Dice: combo point retention drops from 35% to 25% per turn.
  • Mystic Harp: revival HP falls from 50% to 40%.
  • Shopping Cart: shop HP restoration reduced from 15% to 10%.
  • Skull: the HP threshold for its bonus drops from 30% to 25%.

Relic buffs (selected highlights)

  • D4: extra rerolls per turn increase from 2 to 3.
  • Security Camera: upgrades 5 random faces instead of 4 when shield is empty.
  • Wisdom Scroll: full-clear XP multiplier rises from 1.25× to 1.35×.
  • Anvil, Arrow, Bell, Rune, Amulet, Scales, Whistle, Anchor all receive moderate numeric bumps.

Enemy tuning

  • Dark Mage is significantly stronger.
  • Ursa Twins, Mushroom, Voidcaller, and Demon are slightly stronger.
  • Slime King and King Krab are slightly weaker.

Misc and bug fixes

  • The Slam action now costs 30% shield (up from 25%) when dealing its shield-scaled damage.
  • Fixed an English typo in the fishing tutorial and corrected battle info being cut off on certain screen ratios.

For players who found early runs too forgiving, the enemy buffs and nerfed sustain relics will meaningfully raise the stakes.
