Soulmask's nineteenth 1.0 patch, published September 10, 2026, requires a client update before players can continue — the developers note that skipping it will interrupt normal play.
What changed
New Feature
- Quick Deploy lets chieftains store selected tribesmen as data inside the mask, configure their equipment, weapon preferences, and combat tactics, then toggle them between physical and data forms at will.
Optimizations
- Summon levels from the Central Core are reduced at low AI difficulty settings.
- Central Core death-package drop locations, sound effects, and camera behavior have all been refined.
- Sand Bandit event squads in the Red Dunes now have a chance to drop the Hymn of Radiance Module.
- The same drop in Blackstone Cliffs dungeon has been swapped from Hymn of Radiance to the Desert Overlord Module.
Bug fixes
- Training Ground sorting no longer incorrectly includes other players' tribesmen in selection.
- Tribesman assignment failures at the Training Ground are resolved.
- Dismantling floating foundations now returns all materials.
- Central Core vision range in the Floating Island Ruins is corrected.
- Phase Anchors can now be used at the Ancient Dungeon exploration point in the Burning Highlands.
- Expedition Outpost interface display issues are fixed.
- Guardians will now attack enemies as intended.
- Turret defense structures and parrot alert distance settings function correctly.
- Building pillars no longer collide with walls.
- Desert Overlord Sandstorm Impact visual effects are optimized and sound volume reduced.
For players managing large tribes, Quick Deploy in particular reshapes how tribesmen can be configured and fielded without manual re-equipping each time.
