Soulmask PTB Gets New Region, Dungeons, and Masks in 'Beyond Gravity' Preview

The Soulmask Public Test Branch received its first major content push on August 18, billed as an early taste of the forthcoming "Beyond Gravity" update. The drop is explicitly pre-release — the developer warns players may clip through the world into a bottomless void — and feedback is being solicited via Discord.

New region and locations

• Burning Highland added as a new area within the Shifting Sands DLC
• Ancient Dungeon, Holy Ruins, Pyramid Ruins, and a Pyramid Ruins Dungeon added inside Burning Highland
• A second Pyramid Ruins Dungeon added in Starfall Fields
• Floating Island Ruins added

New Masks and drop locations

• Desert Overlord Mask added as a drop in the Starfall Fields pyramid
• Shadow Hunter Mask added as a drop in the Burning Highland pyramid
• Enforcer Mask and its Restrictive Module added as drops in Burning Highland's Holy Ruins
• Desert Overlord Mask Restrictive Module added to Blackstone Cliff Ruins Dungeon
• Shadow Hunter Mask Restrictive Module added to Burning Highland's Holy Ruins
• Glorious Battle Hymn Mask Restrictive Module relocated from Blackstone Cliff Ruins Dungeon to Red Dunes Ruins

• Mastery learning feature added to the Training Ground
• Power-free variant of the Floating Foundation added
• Water Vapor Collector added
• Gene Recovery ability added (default key: X): restores full HP when Severely Injured or in Feign Death; 60-second cooldown; unavailable in War Mode
