Spider-Man Remastered Update Adds DualSense Edge Support and FSR 3.1.4
A focused patch from Nixxes brings controller improvements and ML-based frame generation to the PC port.
Team Nixxes has released patch v4.630.0.0 for Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered, a small but technically substantive update published on July 8, 2026.
What changed
- DualSense Edge support has been improved.
- AMD FSR updated to version 3.1.4, adding compatibility with Machine Learning-based FSR Frame Generation on supported hardware.
- ML-based AMD FSR "Redstone" Frame Generation is now available — requires an AMD Radeon RX 9000 series GPU and driver 25.12.1 or later.
- When AMD FSR 4 is enabled in the driver, the game now correctly displays that version in the menu and launcher (same hardware and driver requirement applies).
- Bug fix: a UI issue where DLSS Frame Generation could become unavailable in the menu after switching to FSR Frame Generation or disabling Frame Generation entirely has been resolved.
For players who encounter issues after updating, Nixxes notes that the previous version remains accessible via Steam's Betas tab under the Previous_Version option.
The DualSense Edge improvement is modest in scope, but the FSR 3.1.4 upgrade is the more consequential change — players with compatible Radeon RX 9000 hardware gain access to machine learning-driven frame generation, and a persistent menu bug that muddied the DLSS/FSR switching workflow is now gone.
