Street Fighter 6 Adds Yasmine as First Year 4 Character
The arrival of a new fighter and a round of balance adjustments for the full roster marks the opening move of Street Fighter 6's fourth year of post-launch content.
Capcom has released Yasmine, the first character of Street Fighter 6's Year 4 slate. The announcement confirms she is now available in-game.
What changed
- Yasmine is live. She joins the roster as the first Year 4 character.
- Pass holders get automatic access. Players who own either the Year 4 Character Pass or the Year 4 Ultimate Pass will find her added to their game automatically.
- Individual purchase available. Yasmine can also be acquired separately using Fighter Coins, the game's in-game currency.
- Outfit 2 is available. A second costume — described as her everyday school attire — launches alongside the character.
- Battle adjustments for all characters. A balance patch accompanies the release. Full patch notes are posted on Buckler's Bootcamp, Capcom's official Street Fighter 6 companion site.
For players tracking the game's competitive landscape, the combination of a new fighter and a roster-wide balance pass means the current meta is due for a reset.
