Supermarket Chaos Patch 1.0.7 Adds Italian, Product Previews, and Auto-Backups
A modest but practical update addresses input bugs, localization gaps, and save-file anxiety in one go.
Developer BunnyHop has pushed patch 1.0.7 for Supermarket Chaos, a update that mixes quality-of-life fixes with a quietly useful new safety net for save data.
What changed
- Bug fix: The Home Decor / Decorations sign displayed the wrong name — now corrected.
- Running fixed: Running mechanics were broken and have been repaired.
- Polish font improved: The Polish-language font received a visual pass.
- Gamepad fix: Checkbox options could not be selected with a gamepad; this has been resolved.
- Product preview added: Hovering the cursor over an item now shows its name. The feature is on by default and can be toggled in Options.
- Italian language added.
Backup feature
The update also introduces an automatic backup system that saves a copy of the player's progress every 15 minutes. Up to 20 hours of rolling backups — covering as much as five hours of play — are stored locally at C:/Users/{user}/AppData/LocalLow/BunnyHopHome/Supermarket Chaos/Backup. A Readme file inside that folder explains recovery steps.
BunnyHop notes the feature is still being tested for stability and recommends relying on the normal save system and Steam Cloud saves first, treating the backup folder as a secondary option. Once stability improves, an easier access point from the Settings screen is planned.
For players who have lost progress to accidental deletions, the passive safety net is a meaningful addition — even if it currently requires a manual folder dive to use.
