Supermarket Together Adds Logistics Desk for Cross-Store Fund Transfers
A new piece of in-game furniture lets veteran store owners funnel money into fresh layouts — with deliberate guardrails to prevent easy exploitation.
The July 5 update for Supermarket Together introduces the logistics desk, a new prop that addresses a specific friction point: starting over in a new store layout when an established one already exists.
What changed
- Logistics desk added — found near the start of the devices tab; allows money to be transferred from an older store to a newer one, also granting franchise experience.
- Transfer is capped at $1,000 for every in-game day that has passed in the receiving store.
- Day-count restriction — the sending store's game day must be higher than the receiving store's.
- Layout-type restriction — transfers are limited per layout category (e.g., classic to plaza), regardless of how many stores of the same type a player owns. Additional layouts unlocked in future updates will expand the available transfer pool progressively.
- Employee pathfinding fix — workers no longer navigate to an errant spot when recycling boxes in the plaza layout.
- Desk cosmetics unified — logos and text on the security desk, announcements desk, and others have been standardised in appearance.
- Employee blackboard gains 7 additional slots for saving and loading priority layouts.
- Customer shelf behaviour — when a shelf or store container has multiple sides (indicated by a red area during placement), customers will now distribute across them rather than crowding one.
For players managing multiple store layouts, the logistics desk offers a structured head-start system that scales in generosity the further along a player's portfolio grows.
