The Outlast Trials Adds Chemical Leak Event, Two New MK-Challenges

Murkoff's latest update to The Outlast Trials arrives with a time-limited event built around environmental hazard rather than the usual pursuit of test subjects.

What changed

• Chemical Leak Limited-Time Event runs from September 8 (10 AM ET) through October 6 (10 AM ET). A toxic gas fills each Trial area; players must locate and shut off valves to clear it.
• Chemical Leak Limited-Time Catalog accompanies the event. Players spend earned Event Tokens on exclusive rewards. The catalog disappears when the event ends, and any unspent tokens are forfeited.
• New MK-Challenge: Change the Program — framed around spreading Murkoff's manufactured truth.
• New MK-Challenge: Fund the Campaign — cast players as an instrument of institutional violence.
• Various bug fixes and improvements, plus balancing updates to Invasion and Escalation modes and new quality-of-life options.
