The Séance of Blake Manor

Raw Fury's Helen has posted a dual release for The Séance of Blake Manor: a demo update (1.1.2.337) that brings the free version in line with the full game, and Patch 1.1.12.360 for the full release carrying a substantial list of fixes and additions.

What changed

UI & settings additions

  • V-Sync can now be toggled off from the Options menu
  • A target frame rate option has been added
  • The hotspot interaction cycle binding has moved to Q
  • Double-click to skip dialogue is now available as an option
  • An option to disable dialogue skipping entirely has been added
  • Record and Discussable screen categories now share a consistent ordering
  • Guest names are sorted by last name

Bug fixes

  • Fixed a visual error on the how-to-play screen background; scroll sensitivity there has been increased
  • Hourglass tutorial window now functions correctly when Tutorial Mode is set to Press
  • Time data no longer carries over when loading a save from the main menu
  • Journal no longer gets stuck on specific mindmaps after forced tutorial navigation
  • Inputs no longer activate during the first-time user experience when alt-tabbing out and back in
  • Mouse clicks no longer register while the Steam overlay is open
  • AM/PM display on the timetable screen now works for cultures using different characters
  • Multiple hypothesis considerations no longer trigger on button spam
  • Monument position on the maze map has been corrected
  • F5 Quick Save is blocked on the Title Screen
  • Varley-related discussable items now appear only after the player has met him

The note flags that the changelog may contain spoilers — worth bearing in mind before reading it in full. Taken together, the fixes make navigation, input handling, and journal flow meaningfully more reliable for players already in the game.
