Poncle has released Legacy of the Bloodmoon, a new expansion for Vampire Survivors, priced at what the announcement describes as "one money" — or as low as regional pricing allows.

The expansion follows Clan Bloodmoon retracing the pilgrimage of Saint Baal'Thasar in search of a paradise lit by a red moon, with an ancient manor rumored to hide the secret of immortality.

What's in Legacy of the Bloodmoon

  • 12 new characters (described, with apparent irony, as "villains friendly characters")
  • 16+ new weapons and evolutions, including a FireBall
  • 11 new music tracks
  • 1 new adventure
  • 1 new large stage

Legacy of the Moonspell also updated

The game's original expansion, Legacy of the Moonspell, is receiving free additional content:

  • 5 extra weapons
  • 4 extra characters
  • 1 extra music track
  • Buffs to the original cast

Version 1.16.100 changes

All platforms are moving to v1.16.100 or higher. Key updates include:

  • Banish: the Level Up menu stays open after banishing an item
  • Quickstart: now tries to select a character or stage tied to a missing unlock
  • Special passives (Operation Guns, Emergency Meeting): accessible in ArmaDios and as Level Up options even when the passive limit is reached
  • Reworked core framework features for CPU and memory improvements
  • Various bug fixes, including one affecting Baal'Thasar's ability

Version 1.16.105 — carrying performance improvements and the Baal'Thasar fix — is expected on Android and Nintendo Switch by end of the following week.

For returning players, the Moonspell additions are the quiet headline: meaningful content at no extra cost, bundled into a patch that also tightens the game's foundational systems.
