Veilscripture AI v1.0.8 Reworks Memory Bank, Fixes CPU and UI Freeze Issues

The August 23 update to Veilscripture AI (v1.0.8) arrives with a mix of stability fixes and meaningful feature revisions, the most substantial being a complete rework of the Memory Bank system.

What changed

• Duplicate refresh operations that unnecessarily raised CPU usage have been resolved
• A rare failure affecting Workshop subscriptions has been corrected
• Sprite rotation was producing incorrect results and is now fixed
• Background image operations could silently fail; that path is now closed
• Resuming a chat could freeze the interface until generation finished — a particularly disruptive issue that is now addressed
• A rare source of Memory Bank errors has been eliminated

Feature updates:

• The Generation Control tab in the launcher's Advanced Mode has been rewritten with clearer explanations for each control
• Server control parameters in the launcher have been updated
• Memory Bank has been completely reworked, introducing instant summarization and improved control over the memory system
• The chat interface UI has received general improvements
