Hey Mateys, Patch #7 is here, bringing new ways to customise your Uncharted runs, more opportunities across the Seven Seas, improvements to Events and the economy, ship upgrades, and another round of fixes! For Uncharted Mode, we’ve expanded the available difficulty options with new settings for Incremental Placement Costs and Compass Progression, giving you more control over how your run develops. There are also two new opportunities to encounter on the Seven Seas. The new Fence Event lets you turn spare early- to mid-game resources into Coin, while Captured Soldiers gives you the opportunity to recruit additional Drifters at the cost of Cohesion. Please note: These two new Seven Seas Events are only added when starting a new run and will not appear in existing save games. Ships have received some attention too: you can now upgrade ships into their intercardinal variants, while optimisations to economy connectivity improve transportation speed for buildings placed on cliffs. We’ve also made Events easier to read and navigate. Card previews now give you a clearer idea of their potential impact before making a choice, the Battle Log provides more detailed and readable information, and scene transitions have been improved. Alongside all of that, Patch #7 includes improvements to Warehouses, progression warnings, Cohesion information, building navigation, and plenty of fixes across stability, placement, Events, buildings, localization, visuals, and more. A small note on version numbers: Starting with this patch, we’re adjusting our naming convention for clearer communication.…

Hey Mateys,We’ve just released a major update for the Corsair Cove Demo! Since the original Demo launched, Corsair Cove has received plenty of new features, quality-of-life improvements, balancing changes, and fixes. With this update, we’re bringing many of those improvements from the full game into the Demo as well – while, of course, keeping the content itself within the scope of the Demo. This means returning players will find a much more up-to-date version of the Corsair Cove experience, including Direct Ship Navigation, Auto-Trading, automatic Ship Repairs, new Event options, improved UI and feedback, and much more. We’ve also incorporated a large number of fixes covering stability, tutorial progression, building placement, economy, events, visuals, audio, localization, and more. ⚠️ Important Information for Returning Demo PlayersOld Demo save games will most likely not be compatible with this new version of the Demo. Due to the extent of the changes made since the previous version, we strongly recommend starting a new game. If you would still like to continue an old save or access the previous Demo for any other reason, the old version will remain available through a separate Steam branch:Right-click the Corsair Cove Demo in your Steam Library → Properties → Game Versions & Betas → select “Old Demo Version”. Please also note that we are aware of some remaining localization issues in the updated Demo, which may result in occasional placeholder or incorrect text. We are working on addressing these issues in a future update. With that out of the way, here’s everything…

Budd_LE and the Corsair Cove team have shipped version 1.1.1, a small but focused patch aimed squarely at tutorial reliability — the kind of first-impression friction that shapes early reviews.
What changed
Fixed a rare case where the tutorial could get stuck after closing the journey summary screen following the "Barbos Bay" event.
Fixed the "Place your Pier here" hint occasionally getting stuck on screen.
Fixed an issue where, after returning from Barbos Bay and closing the journey summary mini overview, the objective would not advance unless the Pier was selected again.
Removed all community events except immigration events while the tutorial is active.
Added a save guard system that automatically clears stuck hints during normal progression and when loading a save.
A note on the save guard: Players who load an existing save may still briefly see the "Place your Pier here" hint. The new system will remove it automatically once the next objective is reached — no manual intervention required.
The patch is narrow in scope by design, and the team describes it as a first step informed by player feedback. For anyone who bounced off a frozen tutorial objective, the fix should make the opening sequence considerably smoother.
