Iron Blight Patch 1.03 Fixes Softlocks, Weapon Bugs, and Map Navigation
Published 31 August 2026, Patch 1.03 for Iron Blight arrives with a focused list of corrections across inventory, combat, navigation, and save reliability.
What changed
Fixes and updates confirmed by the developer:
- Area labels added to the overview map in Prasnova
- Invisible walls placed on stairways to prevent players becoming stuck
- The Spitter mutant now more consistently halts its spitting attack after taking heavy damage
- Mouse sensitivity settings load correctly on launch
- Players can only pick up backpacks that offer an upgrade, preventing duplicate inventory items
- Sickness and low-health effects made more pronounced
- Puzzle object positions and rotations are no longer saved between sessions
- A save trigger added after a specific door in the Dormitory to prevent a softlock
- Dormitory save triggers can now fire multiple times, reducing the run back to exit stairs
- Fixed a bug where Quick Heal could leave the weapon lowered and unable to fire
- Physics engine framerate increased
- Vodka now cures a greater amount of sickness
Potential fixes under observation:
- Custom keybinds failing after a game restart
- Elevator stopping shortly after moving, potentially corrupting the save
- Certain doors rotating in the wrong direction
- Mutants attacking erroneously when transitioning to calm or fleeing states
The patch addresses several issues that could halt progress outright — particularly the Dormitory softlock and the elevator save corruption — making this a meaningful update for anyone mid-run in Prasnova.
