Hello everyone! We want to start with a huge THANK YOU: the Steam Next Fest was an incredible success for us, and the reviews you left during the demo have been essential. We read them carefully, and many of your observations have already turned into concrete tasks in development. This update explains what we’ve fixed, what we’ll do next, and how we’ll keep the line of communication open with the community. Attention: These updates will impact the final version. The demo will NOT receive an update. What we’ve already fixed (thanks to your reviews)Enemy and projectile hitboxes. This was the main issue many players pointed out in the demo. We reviewed and improved collision points and hitboxes for both projectiles and enemies. Impacts now feel more consistent and punchy. Platforms and jumps. We received many comments about confusing jumps or platform placements that made it hard to see the player. We adjusted geometry and detection so jumps and positioning are clearer and more predictable. Audio fixes. We made targeted fixes to audio that sounded distorted or had noticeable volume differences to achieve a more balanced sound experience. Map boundaries. Several players found ways to leave the map. We already applied fixes to close unintended paths, but we need to be even more specific — that’s why we’ll try to contact players who reported these cases to coordinate details and close any remaining loopholes. We want to hear you more closelyOur team will try to reach out to some users who left detailed reviews to arrange meetings or chats (voice, text, or video) so we can get…

In Search of Freedom Launches on Steam, Set in Virus-Ravaged Argentina
In Search of Freedom is now available on Steam, following a development period that included a publicly available demo and a wishlist campaign.
The game casts players in a virus-outbreak scenario — the Qu-K pathogen has spread across Argentina — and frames the chaos as something larger than it first appears. The tone, per the developer, mixes action with humor and leans into absurdity alongside its combat.
What the game includes
Third-person action structure with hordes of infected enemies
A variety of weapons and abilities
Boss encounters and "unique enemies"
Multiple distinct locations to explore
A setting grounded entirely in Argentina
A story the developer describes as growing more chaotic as it progresses
The announcement, signed by developer -Bebu-, notes that players who followed development, wishlisted the title, or tried the demo are the intended first audience for the full release. The developer also highlights that Steam reviews carry meaningful weight for the project's visibility.
For players who sampled the demo, this is the moment to see how the full narrative resolves — and whether the promise of escalating chaos holds up across a complete run.
