3DMurderMystery TheAshenYou Patches Duplicate Text and Misplaced Click Prompts
A focused mid-month update addresses two interface errors and sound balance in the mystery title.
The second update issued on August 16 for 3DMurderMystery TheAshenYou is a short but targeted patch from developer gudagudabuton, correcting two distinct bugs and making a minor audio adjustment.
What changed
- Duplicate text in quick-reference window — During the Exploration/Discussion section, unintended duplicate text could appear in the panel on the right side of the screen. This has been fixed.
- Misplaced click prompts in Case Recollection — Players were being incorrectly prompted to click during dialogue delivered by characters other than the one assigned to them. The prompt now triggers only at the appropriate moments.
- Sound effect volume — The volume of some sound effects has been adjusted.
The duplicate text fix is the kind of issue that quietly undermines a mystery game's readability at critical moments; having that panel display clean, non-redundant information restores confidence in what the UI is actually telling the player. The click-prompt correction similarly matters for pacing — a misfired input cue in a dialogue-driven section can break immersion or cause unintended progression. Together, the two fixes tighten the moment-to-moment experience without altering any underlying mechanics.
