Patch 0.1.7 for Architect of War arrives with a broad sweep of fixes and balance adjustments, touching summoning turrets, Meta Achievements, affixes, and the user interface.
What changed
Turrets & Balance
- Living Forge summons now retain a minimum size as they lose health; the turret's cost has been rebalanced.
- Relics that increase summon health now function correctly and display their effect in the information panel.
- Golden Striker received stat adjustments and a fix to its unique mechanic.
- The Doom Grinder is now correctly affected by affixes.
- Unlock cost for turret Unique Talents and Skills raised to 2,500.
- Maximum items collectible from chests during a run increased from 3 to 5.
Meta Achievements
- The damage bonus system was broken and has been fixed; bonuses now apply correctly in-game: Easy (+5%), Medium (+5%), Hard (+10%), totalling +20%.
- Claimed milestones now display in green in the UI.
Life Steal, Health & Shield
- Visual indicators added to the health bar and shield bar when either is restored.
- Stat changes caused by a Leader are now visible directly in the in-game stats panel.
UI & Experience
- Fixed Summon Health and Summon Rate stat text in the inventory.
- Translation fixes applied.
- Tooltips added for Type and Family in the turret purchase panel.
- Affix cards have a new animated hover effect.
- Quest panel open/closed preference is now saved between scenes.
- An indicator now shows the number of waves remaining before the next event.
For players who rely on Meta Achievement bonuses, the fix to that damage system alone makes this a meaningful update to install.
