Miles Morales Patch Adds DualSense Edge Fixes and AMD FSR 3.1.4 with ML Frame Gen
A small but focused update from Nixxes tightens controller support and expands upscaling options for AMD's latest hardware.
Team Nixxes has released patch v4.630.0.0 for Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales on PC, targeting controller compatibility, upscaling improvements, and a UI bug that affected frame generation settings.
What changed
- DualSense Edge support has been improved.
- AMD FSR updated to version 3.1.4, adding compatibility with Machine Learning-based FSR Frame Generation — referred to in the notes as "Redstone" Frame Generation.
- FSR 4 recognition: when AMD FSR 4 is enabled at the driver level, the game now correctly displays this version in the menu and launcher.
- UI bug fixed: DLSS Frame Generation could incorrectly become unavailable in the menu after switching to FSR Frame Generation or disabling Frame Generation entirely.
The ML-based FSR Frame Generation and FSR 4 display features require an AMD Radeon RX 9000 series GPU and driver version 25.12.1 or later.
Nixxes notes that players who encounter problems can revert to the previous build via Steam's Properties → Betas → Previous_Version.
For those on qualifying AMD hardware, the path to ML-accelerated frame generation is now open without leaving the game's own settings menu.
