Following the Armageddon Update's release, the development team has published a rundown of immediate fixes and known issues still under investigation.

What changed

Servers and matchmaking

  • An Oceanic server in Australia has been added for players experiencing high ping and longer match times.
  • Matchmaking parameters have been updated to route players to the best available server.

Loadout item adjustments Several items were found to be unintentionally disabled or re-enabled; credits costs have also been rebalanced:

  • Baseball Bat — re-enabled
  • Long Pipe — re-enabled; cost decreased from 1,200 to 800 Credits
  • Tree Trimmer — re-enabled
  • Hockey Stick — re-enabled; cost decreased from 800 to 400 Credits
  • Rochester 1873 — re-enabled
  • Satchel — re-enabled; cost increased from 450 to 1,500 Credits

The team notes that the removal of the highest-power items from the loadout system was intentional, designed to encourage looting and preserve late-game difficulty.

Steam Deck and Steam Machine The game is now Verified for Steam Machine and remains rated Playable on Steam Deck.

Known issues still outstanding

  • Nvidia GPU hitching on PC — the team reports updating graphics drivers appears to resolve this.
  • Various crashes and memory issues, particularly affecting heavily customized characters in squads and with DLC outfits.

Hotfix #1, targeting crash and memory fixes, is described as slated for early the following week.

For players who have been sidelined by instability or locked out of preferred loadout items, the fixes represent a direct response to community-reported friction in the 1.0 window.
