Once Human's Version 3.0.6 update landed on September 16, 2026, following a scheduled maintenance window beginning at 4:00 PM PT, with an estimated three-hour duration.

What changed

  • Beast Riding goes live: The Beastmaster class receives a comprehensive revamp built around a new core ability — Beast Riding. Beastmasters can now summon animals and mount eligible ones, with the system expanding across summoning, riding, commanding, evolving, and trading.
  • Gardener combat adjustments: Balance changes have been made to the Gardeners' combat capabilities.
  • Animal Ranching System optimizations: Ranching rules and information display have been updated in step with the Beastmaster overhaul.
  • Permanent Scenario Server Merge Plan and the Isles of Abyss Pioneer Test are both introduced in this build.
  • A new Lightforge Loot Crate — "Moon That Lingers" has been added, alongside further combat balance adjustments and bug fixes.

All players receive compensation rewards after maintenance: Starchrom ×1,000, Mitsuko's Mark ×100, a Stardust Secret Crate: S14 (Epic) ×1, and Colorful Badge ×30.

The PC update weighs approximately 7.55 GB via the launcher and 254 MB in-game, with the caveat that a delayed Steam push may cause duplicate downloads. The next update is scheduled for September 28, 2026.

For players who have built around the Beastmaster class, the shift to a ride-and-command loop represents a meaningful change in how that role functions in the field.
