Rogue Point Reaches 1.0 With New Map, Boss, Three Weapons, and Mod Tools
The tactical co-op shooter's full release adds meaningful content across modes while handing map-creation tools directly to the community.
Rogue Point has exited early access with a 1.0 patch that arrives alongside a substantial content drop — new environments, a new boss, three weapons, and a full modding suite built on the same tools the developers use.
What changed
Clinic Map A new map enters rotation across Easy, Medium, Hard, and Raid mission difficulties. Its layout alternates between tight corridors and open lobbies.
Oil Rig Boss A new 5-Star Mercenary named R. Son joins the MERX roster wielding a flamethrower. The existing boss, BOS Hog, has also been updated to appear across additional levels, adding variety to Campaign endings.
New Weapons
- Mule — A compact breaching shotgun designed to sit in the secondary slot, doubling as a backup sidearm.
- KT50 "Plink" — A semi-automatic carbine sharing its magazine with the RC90 and ammo type with the Paragon; described as a large-capacity target rifle.
- A1MA — A semi-automatic designated marksman rifle (DMR) emphasizing high damage, precision, and attachment support.
Mod Support The update introduces community mod tools with Steam Workshop integration. Players can build original or modified maps using the same editor the development team uses, upload directly from Unreal Editor, and have custom maps auto-downloaded for clients joining a modded campaign. A rating system within the game UI surfaces well-regarded Workshop content.
For players, the practical upshot is a launch that extends both the base game and its long-term replayability — the mod pipeline in particular could sustain content well beyond what the studio ships itself.
