RuneScape's Leagues II: EQUILIBRIUM Launches Alongside Construction Marketplace Overhaul
The Leagues event goes live while Jagex reshapes Player-Owned Housing bundles and signals a September engine update.
Leagues II: EQUILIBRIUM has launched for RuneScape as of August 10, 2026, according to a community announcement from Jagex author Azanna. Beyond the event itself, the post devotes considerable space to structural changes in the game's Construction and Marketplace systems.
What changed
Marketplace bundle adjustments (Player-Owned Housing)
- The Anniversary Architect and Party bundles are being converted to single-purchase only and will no longer be available for repeat purchase.
- Recipes for the items in each bundle will be added to the bundles themselves.
- Players who already purchased a bundle will receive the recipes for its contents.
- Players who purchased either bundle multiple times will receive refunds for the extra purchases.
- Jagex notes the timeline for these changes is not yet confirmed.
Trophy changes
- Certain trophies described as "less tasteful to display" are being revised, including those tied to Ivar, Masuta, Greg, Vorkath, Seiryu, and GWD1 and 2 bosses.
- Trophy drop rates have been published in the announcement.
Engine and furniture update
- A September engine update is planned to expand furniture limits within Player-Owned Houses and deliver general performance improvements.
The Leagues II launch is the headline, but the Construction changes represent the more concrete and immediate shift for players who have been investing in Player-Owned Housing — particularly those who made multiple bundle purchases and are now in line for refunds.
