War Thunder 2.59.0.46 Corrects Bomb Data, Fixes Nuclear Escalation Logistics
A focused patch addresses aircraft ordnance accuracy, vehicle bugs, and sweeping supply-chain improvements to the Nuclear Escalation mode.
Update 2.59.0.46, authored by Blitzkrieg Wulf and published 5 October 2026, is a compact but methodical patch touching aircraft, ground vehicles, the Nuclear Escalation mode, and audio.
What changed
Aircraft
- Mk.M2 540 lb bomb — mass corrected from 213 kg to 255 kg; visual model replaced with a more accurate one, sourced from the Jaguar GR.1A & T.2A Aircrew Manual.
- H.E. M.C. 540 lb bomb — explosive mass adjusted from 97 kg to 94 kg, same source.
- F-86E(M) (Israel) — missing AIM-9B modification added; a bug causing 1,000 lb bombs and AIM-9B missiles to require incorrect modifications has been fixed.
- P-47D-27 (USSR) & P-47D (Germany) — missing armored glass restored.
Ground Vehicles
- Object 416 — an erroneously present artillery support modification has been removed. Silver Lions and Golden Eagles spent on it will be compensated.
Nuclear Escalation
- Convoy vehicles now resume movement after running gear repairs.
- Vehicles with knocked-out drivers now continue moving after a crew swap.
- Oncoming convoys blocking each other on roads has been fixed.
- Supply columns carry 50% more cargo; factories produce supplies 25% faster.
- Depots in tactical assembly areas hold 50% more cargo.
- Tanks in stronghold garrisons no longer incorrectly block convoy dispatch from armored vehicle depots.
Sound
- PGZ88 cannon volume reduced.
Other
- Mission points are no longer awarded for deaths caused by AI-controlled aircraft.
The ordnance corrections draw on primary aircrew documentation, lending them particular credibility, while the Nuclear Escalation logistics overhaul should meaningfully reduce supply bottlenecks for players engaged in that mode.
