SCS Software Makes Its Tokyo Game Show Debut in September 2026
For the first time in the studio's history, the makers of Euro Truck Simulator 2 will exhibit at TGS — with playable builds of several unannounced and upcoming projects on the show floor.
SCS Software has announced it will attend Tokyo Game Show 2026, marking the studio's first-ever appearance at the event. The show runs September 17–21 in what is also TGS's 30th anniversary edition, expanded this year to five days. SCS will be in Hall 09, Booth E86, with support from local partner Neon Noroshi. Language interpreters will be on hand for Japanese-speaking visitors.
What's playable at the booth
- Iceland DLC for Euro Truck Simulator 2
- British Columbia and South Dakota map expansions for American Truck Simulator
- Playable demonstrations of the Road Trip and Coaches projects are being targeted for the show, though SCS states no promises are being made
- A PlayStation 5 version of Euro Truck Simulator 2 is also being prepared for a potential hands-on showing, again without a firm commitment
The first two days of TGS are reserved for industry professionals; the final three are open to the public.
The booth offers the clearest public window yet into SCS's near-term release slate — and the PS5 build, if it appears, would be the first time many players see the franchise on console hardware.
