Sephiria Exits Early Access with Chapter 6, 19 Artifacts, and an EA Player Badge

Eight years after releasing Dungreed, Seoul-based TEAM HORAY has brought Sephiria to version 1.0. The game began as a prototype in January 2022 and spent 484 days in Early Access across 58 updates before this week's official launch.

What the 1.0 release contains

The full game now ships with:

• 6 chapters, including a newly added Chapter 6 with new cutscenes, quests, 2 bosses, 1 mini-boss, and 3 BGM tracks
• Six weapon branches with over 200 upgrades
• Roughly 300 Artifacts, ~70 Tablets, and over 30 Potions
• Over 20 costumes and 18 Hard Mode elements
• 12 language localizations and online co-op for up to 4 players

The 1.0.19 patch — the specific build shipping at launch — adds 3 Miracles, 19 Artifacts, 7 Tablets, 1 Combo, 12 Potions, 1 new purchasable-item object, 1 Costume, and 3 achievements. Several of these additions are flagged as direct responses to community feedback.

Early Access tribute

Players who purchased Sephiria before the official release date will receive an exclusive badge visible in multiplayer sessions — a cosmetic acknowledgment from the team rather than a gameplay reward.

TEAM HORAY states it will continue monitoring the game and issuing fixes post-launch, with a Discord channel open for bug reports and suggestions.

For players who held off during Early Access, the 1.0 release represents a substantially expanded game from its prototype origins — one shaped, by the developer's own account, almost entirely by its community.
