Spider-Man Remastered Adds AMD FSR 3.1 and Updates XeSS to 1.3
Patch v3.618.0.0 brings frame generation, improved upscaling, and a new Native AA path to one of PC gaming's better-looking ports.
Nixxes has shipped a notable graphics update for Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered, adding AMD FSR 3.1 support developed in collaboration with AMD. The technology works across recent AMD, Intel, and NVIDIA graphics cards — not just AMD hardware.
What changed
- AMD FSR 3.1 added, including frame generation and improved upscaling quality over prior FSR versions
- FSR frame generation can now be paired with any upscaling technology available in the game for your GPU, not just FSR upscaling
- FSR 3 Native AA option introduced: applies high-quality anti-aliasing without upscaling; accessed by setting Upscaling Method to Off and selecting it from the anti-aliasing menu; compatible with or without frame generation
- Intel XeSS updated to version 1.3, bringing improved upscaling image quality, additional quality presets, and a new XeSS Native AA option
- The game launcher now accepts controller input for startup
- General stability improvements
The addition of a Native AA path on both FSR and XeSS is the subtler win here: players who would rather not upscale at all now have a dedicated, high-quality anti-aliasing option that still leaves frame generation on the table.
