War Thunder's Update 2.57.1.22, published July 14 2026, arrives as a focused bug-fix release touching nearly every pillar of the game.

What changed

Aircraft

• Player-set points of interest and aiming points now persist after respawning.
• HUD and MFD designations for RVV-AE missiles added for the Su-30MK2 AMV (USSR), Su-30MKK (China), J-11A, and MiG-29N (Japan).
• B-25J (all variants): a fuel distribution bug that caused a persistent left roll has been fixed.

Ground Vehicles

• A bug allowing vehicles to reverse at far higher speeds than intended has been fixed.

Naval Battles

• The shell impact point indicator no longer waits for every gun to finish aiming before appearing; it was incorrectly tied to guns not yet on target.

Graphics

• Trees no longer vanish from scope view when zooming in.
• Missing medium-distance shadows on the "Very High" Shadow Quality setting during aircraft play have been restored.
