Big Boy Games has released Reel Business, described as the biggest update to date for Lured In, the fish-shop management game on Steam.

What changed

Bait system — Players can now equip a bait type to filter catches toward a specific fish species. Koi favour worms; Orandas favour crickets. The system does not alter fish rarity — it acts as a targeting filter. Fishing also gains new visuals, an equipment bar, and a jigging action mapped to right-click or the B button on a controller.

Breeding tank — Two fish can be placed inside and bred together for a research fee, removing the need to travel back to early-game locations for specific species. The tank's speed can be upgraded.

Custom rooms — Each room in the shop can now have its walls and floors swapped to different materials and colours via palette icons. The developer notes this system will expand in future updates.

Improved inventory — The inventory now supports searching for specific fish, collapsing the stats panel, and locking individual fish to prevent accidental sales.

New unlocks — The update adds fish transportation (which retains some fish on ascension) and removes the previous limit of a single active lure, alongside new ascensions, upgrades, and research options.

Taken together, Reel Business addresses friction that accumulated as Lured In's roster grew — giving players finer control over what they catch, breed, display, and keep.
