Police Chief Simulator Update #2 Adds Prisoner Transporter Van Upgrade
A community-requested vehicle conversion arrives alongside bug fixes and ongoing performance work.
The second update for Police Chief Simulator centres on a single, player-requested feature: the ability to convert the existing white van into a dedicated Prisoner Transporter.
The conversion is handled at the Body Workshop inside the Car Dealership — a location shared with the broader Car Dealer Simulator universe — and costs an in-game fee. The result is a new vehicle variant that carries more detainees per run, enabling larger transports and, according to the developers, greater profit potential.
What changed
- Added the Prisoner Transporter Van as a new vehicle.
- Added the option to rebuild the existing white van into the Prisoner Transporter at the Body Workshop.
- Added new tutorials and tutorial videos.
- Fixed collision issues on some vehicles.
- Fixed an Armory bug that caused item duplication.
- Fixed handcuffs not returning correctly after patrol when more than one pair was assigned.
- Ongoing optimisation work targeting frame drops at the Police Station (marked as work in progress).
Developer Perfect Circle Team notes the community request list continues to grow, and the handcuff and Armory fixes in particular address friction points that would have disrupted routine patrol management. The frame-drop work being flagged as unfinished suggests players near the Police Station may still encounter stutters for now.
